High quality Ferromolybdenum
Ferromolybdenum is an iron-molybdenum master alloy widely used as a molybdenum additive in steelmaking, casting, and alloy material production. Our company specializes in the international trade of ferromolybdenum products, strictly adhering to GB/T 3649-2008 national standard, and can provide customized specifications according to customer requirements.
Ferromolybdenum is an alloy composed primarily of molybdenum and iron, containing 55% to 75% molybdenum by weight. It is classified under CAS 12382-30-8. The product appears as silver-gray to dark gray metallic lumps. Ferromolybdenum exhibits good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
The main grades include FeMo70, FeMo60-A, FeMo60-B, FeMo60-C, FeMo55-A, and FeMo55-B, and can also be customized according to customer requirements.
According to GB/T 3649-2008, ferromolybdenum is divided into six grades based on molybdenum content and impurity levels. The chemical composition shall comply with the following table:
Note: The above data is based on GB/T 3649-2008. Specific indicators can be adjusted according to customer requirements. For FeMo70, the molybdenum content is typically specified as 65–75% in some references.
